A little about Tanzania:

The United Republic of Tanzania (Swahili: Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania) is a country located in East Africa. To the north it is bordered by Kenya and Uganda, to the west by Rwanda, Burundi and Congo, and to the south by Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. In the east, the country abuts the Indian Ocean. The republic was established as a union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar.

The United Republic of Tanzania was formed on April 26, 1964 from the merger of Tanganyika with the neighboring island of Zanzibar. In 1979, Tanzania declared war on Uganda after it tried to annex territories in the north of the country. Tanzania was not content with removing the Ugandan forces from its land, but also invaded Ugandan territory and forced the expulsion of the Ugandan dictator Idi Amin and the return to power of Obote.
